The ‘sex worker’ word is itself no up to mark for woman as the term itself is contentious. I am failed to understand that why in India our journalists and academics use freely the terms and explanations alien to our socio-cultural arena. I am sure that day will come when our intellectuals will pay their attention to this contrast. As in today's so called open society with market dictating the terms with converting the woman into a commodity. By using this phrase in our social domain and discourse by default, we are institutionalizing it and inadvertently giving acceptance to the ‘trade of sex’.
