Persian Ramayan (फारसी रामायण)

The Persian translation of Mahabharata is known as Razmanama. During the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar, miniature painting tradition developed into a style popularly known as Mughal Painting. Akbar founded an atelier of over 100 artists who worked under two great Persian Masters, Mir Sayyid Ali, Abd-al-samad and later under Farukh Beg.

Mughal style introduced realism to some extent in Indian miniatures an are known for great portraiture and animal studies, Masterly compositions,aerial perspectives, kaleidoscopic, transparent colouring and most important detailed description of nature.
