Real History Writing

There is general lack of interest in history as it has engulfed in the academics as the most readable historical books from "Discovery of India" to "History of Sikhs" are authored by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Sardar Khushwant Singh who were not historians by training but still they wrote books of history in a style that made the work appealing and popular even among the readers generally not interested in history.
