Angkor Wat Hindu Temple

Maybe Akshardham is the largest Hindu temple that is active (puja is performed) today or maybe they are just referring to the size of the temple complex (100 acres adjacent to the Yamuna bed), but the height of the main Akshardham monument inside the Delhi complex is 141 feet (the tallest tower inside Meenakshi Temple in Madurai is 160 feet), whereas the height of the main Angkor Wat structure from the ground to the top of the central tower is 699 feet and the entire temple complex is spread over about 500 acres.
